Expertise: I am an expert at being clumsy, getting hurt. and putting my foot in my mouth (not literally!) I also am an expert at messing up stories, starting over 5-6 times, and then using my body to demonstrate. And PUNCHING! (It's one of my new skills from the summer, along with flipping off the diving board.) Seriously, ask me to punch you, it'll hurt ... unless I miss.

| For all of you who didn't know... TODAY is the 50th
Birthday of Bair Lake Bible Camp!!! Crazy, huh?? If you want to
celebrate in a tangible way, there are a couple different things you
can do.
*There is a 50th anniversary calendar that you can hang on
your wall and proudly display (who knows, your picture may even be on
it!)
*You can contribute to the 50 on the 50th campaign (send 50
of anything, pennies, dollars, pens, pictures, plastic frogs) to Bair
Lake.
*You can also give normal monetary donations to the PAC
building, camper scholarships, renovation of Dining Hall bathrooms,
cabin renovations or just in general.
*AND you could attend the
50th Birthday party at Frederick Meijer Gardens on March 24. I am
hosting a table and have to find 9 guests to fill my table, tickets are
$25, let me know if you're at all interested! It's going to be an
amazing night of celebrating what God has done through Bair Lake over
the last 50 years!! However, I must caution you that it IS a ticketed event so make sure to get your tickets either from me or camp before the event!!
I thought you guys would be interested in
seeing some of the changes taking place so here are a couple of
pictures of the cabin renovations... that's right, by this summer you
could be staying in a brand new (looking) cabin with AIR
CONDITIONING!!! Are we going to be spoiled or what???

My 'studly' brother (hahahahaha, did you get the pun?) pulling nails out of the wall.
This is CABIN 5!!!! I know, hard to believe! This is the only cabin
currently finished. We have the funds to complete 3 more and hopefully
the rest will come in before summer! This was taken from the door of
cabin 5, notice the new windows that actually open and the AIR
CONDITIONER underneath!! Every cabin will have a different color floor.
This is taken from the front door facing over to the breezeway and
counselors room. More good news... the big metal boxes in the
counselors room are gone, so no more jumping up in the middle of the
night and banging your head!!
Like I said, camp has the funds to redo 3 more cabins, but as you know,
there are 12 total! Each one costs about $7500. If you would like to
contribute financially just send it to camp 12500 Prang St. Jones, MI
49061 or if you would like to come down to camp and throw a
sledgehammer through the wall, or stick your leg down through the
ceiling or rip a shelf off a wall, we would love to have you!
Otherwise, please keep Bair Lake and everything that is going on in

after using almost 1/3 tank of gas getting lost tonight, i've decided
I've had enough! But maybe that was God's way of giving me time to
build a friendship and get to know someone so that we can get to the
deep stuff. Although I've never felt so inadequate in witnessing and
talking to someone about where they are at in my life...
Work was actually really really fun today, but I'm exhausted! Tomorrow
will be my day of packing/ cleaning, relaxing/ working/ and squaring
away loose ends. Having my own house isn't all that bad I guess...
I'M SO READY TO GO HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wednesday cannot come soon enough!!!
